BOISE, ID (May 1, 2025) -- Hotel Renegade, the 122-key boutique hotel in downtown Boise, turns one this May.

Time has a funny way of moving fast when you’re busy rewriting the rules. One year ago, Hotel Renegade swung open its doors with a mission: redefine what a hotel experience could look and feel like in downtown Boise. No fluff. No apologies. Just rugged charm, modern grit, and a spirit that refuses to blend in.
Since then, this place has grown from an idea into a living, breathing landmark. A destination for the ones who go their own way. As we celebrate year one, we’re tipping our hats to the moments that built us, and setting our sights on the trail ahead.
We made our debut the only way a Renegade knows how — loud and proud. A ribbon-cutting with the Boise Metro Chamber, community leaders, and the people who poured their heart and hustle into this project. Hosting the Chamber’s CEO Speaker Series brought thought leaders and innovators into our house to see firsthand the vision, grit, and guts it took to make Hotel Renegade what it is today. It also gave us a chance to show off our event spaces, our dining, and a taste of our unapologetic spirit.
In just one year, we’ve welcomed thousands of guests (30,000+) from across the globe, and we’re just getting warmed up. We’ve hosted more than 140 events — weddings, rooftop parties, private dinners, and corporate gatherings — each one a testament to the stories, dreams, and daring spirits that make Boise great.
We set out to raise the bar. And it didn’t take long for the rest of the world to take notice. Just months after opening, Hotel Renegade earned the prestigious AAA Four Diamond rating — proof that true hospitality is about more than fancy linens and room service menus. It's about creating something real. Something unforgettable.
National press came calling, too — with Condé Nast Traveler and Fodor’s Travel naming Hotel Renegade as one of Boise’s must-visit stays. Baraboo Supper Club quickly became the city’s go-to spot for a damn good dinner or a weekend brunch done right. The Highlander rooftop bar and lounge made a name for itself with the best cocktails, and the sexiest views, in town. And Blue Collar Coffee Co. became a neighborhood favorite, serving handcrafted lattes and strong coffee for folks who know a thing or two about getting after it.
As we raise a glass to our first year, we’re not slowing down. Year two promises even bigger moves: expanded event offerings, bold new menu drops, and curated experiences you’ll only find under our roof.
We owe it all to the community that embraced us, the guests who keep coming back for more, and the hardworking team that brings this place to life every single day.
Whether you’re a seasoned Renegade or a first-timer ready to see what the buzz is about, we invite you to celebrate with us. Book a night away. Stop in for brunch. Raise a glass under the open sky.
Here’s to more memories, more bold moves, and another year of going against the grain... in the best way possible.
